We had a wonderful stay at a charming guest house near Florence. The location was peaceful and easy to find with GPS. It only took us 20 minutes to reach Florence by car. The staff were friendly and though they didn't speak English, we enjoyed practicing our Italian. The highlight of our stay was the delicious food at the restaurant. It was the best we've ever had in Italy. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom. The pool area looked lovely and would be perfect for summer months. we had a fantastic experience at Cascina De' Fagiolari Guest House and would definitely return.
The room could be a little cold during the winter, but it didn't detract from our stay. A kettle in the room would have been a nice touch, but the bar in the hotel was convenient for buying coffees.

The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful traditional decorations. The common areas were easily accessible for senior people, making it convenient to navigate around the hotel.
I would have appreciated more assistance and guidance from the staff, especially considering the needs of senior guests.

The friendly staff and relaxed country side setting
The showers were a little outdated and the tile floors could use an update.

Very cheap, 65 euro for a one night stay, and good location - one hour drive from Pisa. The staff were lovely and allowed us to check in very late at midnight. Easy to find hotel.
The breakfast was a bit dry and packaged, but for the included rate - not bad really.

Breakfast okay, typical Italian. Loved the site with kittens and lots of outside spaces to sit and enjoy the evening. Beautiful pool, great for swimming. Strategic location, close to Firenze and Asmana Wellness World for day trips. Great for families with young kids and babies. Super friendly staff. Delicious food at the restaurant. Comfy bed in refurbished room. Bath in the room. Quiet and good shower

The room was spatious and very clean. Air conditon was functioning and area was very calm despite a busy restaurant. A swimming pool is nice, but much more pleasure gave us the restaurant. Full of locals actually we had to wait to get in. Perfect, reasonably priced, definitely not a turist rip-off . Internet was available in reception on desktop computer for free. The breakfast was extended continental so we were very pleased.
This hotel is more B&B, but if you do not expect English speaking receptionist this is not a problem. Location is 15 km from Firenze not a problem with car and navi, but otherwise quite far from Firenze and also from train station. We had a car so we really loved this calm country refuge after a day in noisy city.

Good location.
During the summer, for economy, the set the air cond to the minimum. If you stay in a double room, you maybe can sleep. But with more people in the room (4), it's better to sleep outside. Got pictures from my room showing 31ºc at 1:00am. Staff is terrible. The owner almost punch me in the face when I tried to complain.

The rooms at Cascina De' Fagiolari were absolutely stunning! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the fantastic view of the surrounding landscape from my room. It was like something out of a painting! As an old person, I appreciate the serenity and beauty of nature, and this room truly captured that for me.
Personally, I found the lack of a mini fridge in the room a bit disappointing. But hey, I understand that not everyone needs one and it might not bother others.

We are a family of 4 and we chose this hotel because we wanted to be in a convenient location to take the train into Florence. It is a very nice, very comfortable hotel. We loved our room, which had a mini fridge and doors that opened up to a private patio. We also loved the pool, which is huge and is in a beautiful setting. It was a relaxing place after being in Florence. There is really not much around the hotel so we ate dinner at the restaurant both nights we were there. It's a very nice restaurant, not too expensive. The breakfast buffet was good here. It was a bigger breakfast than we had anywhere else in Italy. The train is about a 5 minute-drive from here and there is plenty of free parking at the train. It only takes 15 minutes to get to Florence on the train. Before you take the train you have to buy train tickets from a machine under the platform, there is no ticket office---study how to use the machine before you go, or give yourself alot of time-and buy roundtrip tickets. We had to stand in line for a half hour in Florence for return tickets. The hotel had said they had a shuttle to the train, but they didn't do that anymore, they said. They also used to sell the train tickets, but they didn't do that either, when we were there. We also had a bit of trouble in Florence finding the right train to get back, so pay attention to that. There are two different stops for Lastra a Signa and Signa. We took the train from one and got the train back to the other mistakenly. Luckily is it only a 15 minute walk between them.
This is not really a complaint for our purposes but they did not have a shuttle to the train station. The staff spoke very little English, but they were very helpful.

I chose this hotel for a vendor expo and it was perfect for hosting business lunches and meetings. The facilities were well-equipped and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
I wish there was reliable and fast Wi-Fi available in the room as it would have been helpful for my work needs.

Service was friendly, food at the restaurant tasty, rooms comfortable and large.
It was easy to miss the place as there was no sign by the street

Definitely the restaurant, the fact that the hotel is in the Toscan country but still 15km from Florence, the vineyards around it, the garden, helpfulness of the staff, hotel/room design...
Sound insulation was poor as we heard everything in the hallways and adjacent rooms, mosquitoes...

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was great and despite their limited English, they provided all the information I needed. The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and cozy. The beds were very comfortable, which ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast each morning was delicious and had a good variety. The location of the hotel was perfect for me, as I was able to easily drive to other parts of Tuscany within an hour. The hotel facilities were excellent, and I enjoyed spending time at the cozy pool surrounded by trees and green lands. Additionally, the parking area was spacious and convenient.
All was good.
